The women's volleyball team earned their first conference win of the season on Sunday afternoon against NC State. The Hokies struggled at first with the set one decision score of 15-25. However, they held on to the next three sets, winning the match 3-1. This was Tech's first win against a conference opponent, this season and put them at 10-4 overall and 1-1 in conference play. They return to action on Wednesday night against Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. to wrap up a six-match home series.
