Megan Duffy's first season in Blacksburg was a successful one, despite the Hokies missing the 2025 NCAA Tournament as the first team to be left out. Yes, they hurt themselves down the stretch of the season with some "bad losses," but the fact that Duffy had them as close as she did in her first year with a short roster and rotation was a good sign.
Last year, the Hokies benefited from a favorable ACC schedule with all three newcomers, SMU, California, and Stanford, all making the trip to Blacksburg, and turnabout is fair play this coming winter after the conference released the dates for all ACC women's games.
