Virginia Tech women's basketball observations from dominating win over FSU

After dropping their ACC opener in disappointing fashion earlier this month at home against Duke, the Virginia Tech women's basketball team was looking to pick up its first conference road win at Florida State on Thursday night. It was the second true road game of the season for the Hokies, who dropped their first one at James Madison.

Florida State entered the game at 4-8 overall and 0-1 in the ACC while also battling injuries. They were missing two players before the game, down to eight, then in the second quarter, Sole Williams went down with an injury, leaving the Seminoles with just seven players.
