The non-conference schedules for the Virginia Tech men's and women's basketball teams are quickly coming to a close. Before you know it, they will both be in the middle of their daunting ACC schedules.
Megan Duffy and the women opened ACC play last Sunday afternoon at home and lost a frustrating game to Duke. Mike Young and the men will kick off their conference schedule on New Year's Eve afternoon when Virginia visits Cassell Coliseum.
Speaking of Cassell Coliseum, it will be a busy place on Sunday afternoon as the Hokies' men and women will host non-conference games beginning at noon when the Young's team hosts Maryland Eastern Shore.
