When Virginia Tech hosts a Top 10 team at Cassell, bet on the Hokies. The last three teams to come to Blacksburg ranked that high have fallen t the hands of the gobblers. Today’s game was no different. Duke has had Virginia Tech’s number - well, they’ve had everyone’s number - over the last several years, but the Hokies ran the Blue Devils out of the building.
Duke came into this game allowing just 61.8 PPG, but the Hokies surpassed that total midway into the second half on the back of strong performances from their six studs. Clarke, Allen, Bibbs, Robinson, Hill, and LeDay each were in double figures.
