The Virginia Tech Hokies added another offensive linemen to the class of 2022 on Thursday when three-star offensive tackle Jakson LaHue announced his commitment.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound LaHue plays at Azle High School in Azle, Texas. LaHue had offers from multiple Ivy League schools, meaning this is an impressive young man. Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth and Columbia were among LaHue’s offers. Virginia Tech was currently his only Power 5 offer, but there was heavy interest with Texas Tech.
LaHue is a prospect offensive line coach Vance Vice really liked. Vice has done well with under-the-radar recruits, and perhaps LaHue is his latest find.
