Another Friday, another big day for Virginia Tech recruiting.
We wrote about Bryson Jennings and his announcement set for Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, the son of former Hokie, Bryan Jennings, opted to commit to the North Carolina Tar Heels. While disappointing, I would certainly expect Tech’s coaches to recruit Jennings until he signs.
Now, back to Friday. Four-star offensive lineman Gunner Givens is scheduled to make his announcement at 6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports HQ. This is the same outfit Ramon Brown used for his commitment announcement.
From nearby Lord Botetourt High School, Givens has long been an important target for Virginia Tech’s coaching staff in this cycle.
