Leading 53-29 at halftime on Saturday afternoon, the Virginia Tech women's basketball team seemed to be in a good position at home against Coastal Carolina. However, the game isn't over until the clock reads triple 0's after the fourth quarter.
Coastal Carolina turned things up in the second half, and in the third quarter, they held the Hokies to four points on 2-for-18 shooting. They didn't exactly set the world on fire themselves, scoring only 12 points, but they cut the deficit to 16 points. Early in the fourth quarter, the Chanticleers got the lead down to 11 before Virginia Tech's top players took over.
