After rolling to a win over Gardner-Webb on Thursday night, the Virginia Tech women's basketball team will have a quick turnaround with an afternoon home game against Coastal Carolina Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Megan Duffy's team is 3-0 early in the season and will look to make it a fourth straight win against Coastal. In the 36-point win over Gardner-Webb, they had five players finish in double figures. Samyha Suffren led the Hokies with 17 points off the bench, while Northwestern transfer Mel Daley had 14 points, Texas Tech transfer Kilah Freelon and Carliegh Wenzel each had 12, and Carys Baker added 10.
