NFL training camps are open, and some former Virginia Tech players are sticking out early on. Wide receiver Jaylin Lane is making waves with the Washington Commanders, as is defensive back Dorian Strong with the Buffalo Bills. Another former Hokies' player is expected to make some noise in another training camp, but he has been set back with an injury.
Running back Bhayshul Tuten is expected to push for time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the former Hokies back is sidelined with a hamstring injury. He isn't expected to miss an extended amount of time for Jacksonville, and this early on in camp, it doesn't make sense to push him too hard.
