Recruiting in the Class of 2026 has been a struggle for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry. Entering Friday, he had only 10 commitments, as they had come up short on commitments multiple times, often losing out to in-state rival Virginia or powerhouse programs from other conferences.
There was one recruit in the class who was still undecided about his college decision, Andrew Rogers from Greensboro, North Carolina. A highly-touted prospect in the class who had reportedly nearly two dozen offers, he did not release his final schools, but he made his commitment on Friday, and it was a huge recruiting win for Pry and the Hokies.
