It’s almost time for fall camp in college football. The Virginia Tech Hokies are only days away from beginning practice for a new season that lacks buzz. There was excitement heading into last season because so many players returned, and it resulted in a disappointing 6-6 season, with another loss in a meaningless bowl game.
This offseason has featured numerous changes for the Hokies. First, they fired defensive coordinator Chris Marve and strength and conditioning coach Dwight Galt. Later in the offseason, offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen departed to become the offensive line coach at national champion Ohio State.
