The Virginia Tech Hokies added another player to their 2021 recruiting class on Sunday night when three-star cornerback Shawn Asbury II made it official.
Asbury is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback from North Stafford High in Stafford, Va.
The Hokies just offered Asbury on Wednesday of last week and it wasn’t long before he informed the staff he was committing to the Hokies. He made the announcement official on social media.
Asbury is another prospect that isn’t going to wow you. Virginia Tech fans had high hopes that the cornerback it would be getting in 2021 from the Commonwealth would be five-star Tony Grimes from Virginia Beach.
