The news keeps flying, as Virginia Tech has landed its second big commitment of the day. Linebacker, Jaylen Griffin, committed to Virginia Tech this afternoon. Griffin recently decomitted from Cal on May, 27th, and the Hokies swooped in. Griffin hails from Rome, GA, and was recruited by Vance Vice and Bud Foster.

The Hokies need some help at linebacker, and the 6'2" 217 LB Griffin, will fit in nicely. Griffin was also recruited by East Carolina. East Carolina and Virginia Tech have been going toe to toe over the same recruits, with Virginia Tech winning almost all the battles.
