The Virginia Tech Hokies suffered another major personnel loss on Monday morning it was announced that senior defensive back Mook Reynolds was dismissed from the team. Reynolds, the team’s starter at nickel, was dismissed from the team effective immediately in accordance with Virginia Tech Athletics Department policies,” the official statement read.
Reynolds had missed the spring and many thought it was due to injury, however, it was revealed in the statement he was suspended from team activities. He’s the second Virginia Tech defensive back dismissed recently, joining Adonis Alexander, who entered the NFL’s Supplemental Draft. The Hokies also lost Brandon Facyson and Greg Stroman to graduation.
