The Virginia Tech Hokies remain hot in the spring transfer portal. On Tuesday, Auburn offensive lineman Jaden Muskrat revealed his intentions to transfer to the Hokies.
The 6-foot-3, 312-pound Muskrat is from Berryville, Oklahoma, and began his career at Tulsa. While at Tulsa, Muskrat played for current Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Phillip Montgomery, who was the head coach.
At Tulsa, Muskrat appeared in 20 games over three seasons. He was the right tackle in 2022 and transferred to Auburn after that season, following Montgomery, who took over as the Tigers’ offensive coordinator.
In two years at Auburn, Muskrat appeared in every game, mostly as a backup left tackle.
