Divine Deablo came to Virginia Tech as a wide receiver in the class of 2016. It didn’t take long for legendary defensive coordinator Bud Foster to see that Deablo belonged on the defensive side of the ball and he was moved to safety.
Now, Deablo is officially a Las Vegas Raider after signing his first NFL contract recently.
A third-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft, Deablo signed a four-year contract worth just under $5 million. Now, he has a chance to be an impact player as a rookie for a team that could use help at linebacker.
