It’s been a busy month for the Virginia Tech Hokies. After a slow start to 2026 recruiting, the Hokies have picked up five commitments this month. Over the past seven days, Tech has added a pair of offensive tackles: Buddy Wegdam and Rutgers flip Tyrell Simpson.
The Hokies aren’t done. Last weekend, VT hosted two of its top targets, offensive tackle Thomas Wilder and guard Adrian Hamilton. From all intents and purposes, those visits went well, and offensive line coach Matt Moore could be on the verge of signing an impactful offensive line class in his first year.
