Canon Boone, a class of 2021 three-star offensive line prospect from Dickinson High School in Texas, committed to Virginia Tech on Saturday night, via a post on his Twitter account.
A 6′ 4″, 280-pound talent who mostly plays at the offensive tackle spot, Boone chose the Hokies over the likes of Arizona, Colorado, Houston, Mississippi State, Navy and Purdue, among others.
