It’s officially transfer portal season. The NCAA transfer portal doesn’t officially open until Monday for most college players. Graduate transfers can enter the portal before Dec. 4, as can those playing at a school where the head coach leaves for another job.
Over the last few days, three Virginia Tech Hokies have announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal:
- Sophomore TE Dae’Quan Wright
- Sophomore RB Bryce Duke
- Senior DB Ny’Quee Hawkins
We covered Wright’s entry earlier in the week. He was Virginia Tech’s starting tight end this season, and his loss will be felt the most.
