Recruiting in the Class of 2026 has not been as good as Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry or his staff would have liked it to be at this point in the cycle. They would be the first to admit it. Currently, they have less than a dozen commits and have seen some players de-commit to commit elsewhere.
One of Virginia Tech's targets in the Class of 2027 is Andrew Rogers, and the defensive edge from North Carolina dropped a major announcement. He will be making his commitment in August, but he'll do so by moving up his graduation year.
