Recruiting in the Class of 2026 has been a struggle for Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry. He has had two four-star commits bail and de-commit to land elsewhere.
The class is lacking skill in some position players, and Pry had one quarterback commit, Peyton Falzone, but after committing in June of 2024, he de-committed last November before landing at Penn State, then de-committed from there and landed in the SEC at Auburn.
Virginia Tech still doesn't have a signal caller committed in the Class of 2026, as Falzone was the only one. On Thursday, the Hokies picked up a QB commitment in the class from Louisiana.
