We aren’t sure if you’ve been paying attention to Virginia Tech’s social media channels this week, but it’s been a fun time. It’s been a tough few years for the men’s hoops teams. Whether it was the lack of big-time additions since the ACC championship win, players transferring out, or the lack of funding, the Hokies haven’t been fun to follow.
They promised things would be different this year. The basketball team would receive more funding, giving head coach Mike Young more resources to add talent. That allowed Young to keep four of his top returning players, add some talented players via the transfer portal, and sign a multi-man freshman class.
