New Virginia Tech women’s basketball coach Megan Duffy has been busy this week. On Thursday, Duffy and Virginia Tech announced the hiring of Sharnee Zoll-Norman as an assistant coach. A former University of Virginia star point guard, Zoll-Norman previously coached at Penn State before joining Duffy.
On Friday, Duffy announced another addition to her staff, welcoming Itoro Coleman to her staff as the associate head coach. Coleman spent the past three seasons at North Carolina, helping lead the Tar Heels to three NCAA Tournament appearances. Before her time in Chapel Hill, Coleman was an assistant under Duffy at Marquette in 2020-21.
