The Virginia Tech Hokies picked up three wins in the past seven days to improve to 11-2 on the season, including a 5-1 mark in ACC play.
After coming in at No. 20 in last week’s AP top 25, the Hokies moved up four spots this week and are now ranked No. 16.
The Hokies lost their first ACC game on Jan. 6, a heartbreaking two-point loss at Louisville. Head coach Mike Young and his team responded in a big way, defeating Notre Dame last Sunday and Duke just two days later.
The Hokies went down to Winston-Salem this past Sunday and escaped with a four-point win against a feisty Wake Forest team.
