We are just two weeks away from the 2025-26 college basketball season beginning. This year, there is a lot of excitement around the Virginia Tech program for a number of reasons. One of them is the retention Mike Young got from some players and the additions made in the offseason.
One of those additions was freshman Neoklis Avdalas, who committed to the Hokies before going through the NBA Draft process, only to withdraw and sign with Virginia Tech. Jon Rothstein spoke highly of him earlier this month and compared him to a first-round draft pick last year from BYU.
