BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women’s basketball team rallied back from a 13-point deficit to cut it to one late in the fourth quarter, but Virginia held on in the final minute to secure the 63-55 win on Sunday afternoon in ACC action at Cassell Coliseum.
Sidney Cook led the Hokies (16-11, 3-11 ACC) with 15 points and 11 rebounds, recording her 11th double-double of the season. Chanette Hicks added 12 points, handed out six assists and tallied three steals. Vanessa Panousis chipped in eight points while Regan Magarity tallied eight points, six seven boards.
