Saige Jenco goes 3-for-5 with two RBIs in the 5-3 win
BLACKSBURG – In a critical ACC series that features two teams just outside the conference’s postseason tournament, the Virginia Tech Hokies were able to pick up the 5-3 victory over Boston College in the first of a three-game set Friday evening at English Field.
Win the win, the Hokies improved to 5-4 this season in ACC game 1s and are now 10-14 in league play, 23-24 overall as they have also won four in a row. The Eagles dropped to 9-15 in the ACC and 24-22 on the season.
