BLACKSBURG - The Tech track & field team continued its final week of competition before the ACC Championships at the Hokie Twilight Qualifier, collecting several top finishes at the second of three meets this week.
To begin the day, Chris Uhle dominated the men's pole vault with a first place finish. His 5.47-meter (17-11.25) clearance ranks fifth in program history. Deakin Volz placed third while Brad Johnson and Jeffrey Linta took fourth and fifth, respectively.
The women's side collected four top-five marks, including two second place personal best clearances.
