Last season The Deacs showed up at Lane and ran into Bud Foster Day. This weekend the most daunting thing that either team will be dealing with roster uncertainties due to COVID19. There is a dual problem in dealing with those roster hits. The first is obvious; the player is missing from the roster for a game (often two). That also means something a bit less obvious; once the player is cleared to play he’s out of practice and lost some conditioning edge due to lack of practice. The situation is raising its ugly head in all sorts of odd combinations.
