BLACKSBURG – Head coach Justin Fuente announced Thursday that junior S Terrell Edmunds has earned the distinction of wearing Frank Beamer’s No. 25 jersey for Saturday’s game against Clemson.
This weekend’s game will mark the second time the Danville, Virginia native has worn the honorary number in his career. His first time wearing the Beamer No. 25 came in Tech’s 35-24 comeback win against Arkansas in the Belk Bowl. Edmunds came up with a crucial interception in the third quarter that led to a touchdown as Tech cut the Razorbacks’ lead down to 24-21.
