Report: Football Assistants receive two-year contract extensions

Related Topics: Justin Fuente

After the Belk Bowl last December, Virginia Tech announced that the contract of head football coach Justin Fuente extended for two seasons, which included a pay raise for the first year head coach of the Hokies.

At the time, Fuente expressed gratitude to the administration, and hinted that himself and his coaching staff were being well taken care of despite only one year on campus in Blacksburg.

His comments about his staff being well taken care of now make much more sense, as many of Fuente’s assistants were given two-year contract extensions as well, according to a report from Andy Bitter of the Roanoke Times.
