The Virginia Tech Hokies had a host of players latch on with NFL teams over this past weekend. Whether it was through the draft, or through undrafted free agency, the Hokies were well represented when it came to players getting an opportunity at the next level.
One name that was absent from the list of draftees, and initially from those who signed as undrafted free agents, was quarterback Jerod Evans.
However, Evans has reportedly agreed to a training camp deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting. The deal was reportedly made shortly after the draft, but went unreported until Tuesday afternoon.
