The Philadelphia Eagles placed undrafted free agent and former Virginia Tech quarterback Jerod Evans on injured reserve on Monday after he cleared waivers over the weekend, according to NFL Trade Rumors.
The Eagles placed Evans on waivers with an injury designation on Sunday, after he suffered a foot injury during their rookie mini-camp.
The extent and specificity of the injury is not known at this time, but the feeling must be that it is a relatively significant injury to Evans, given the fact that he was moved to injured reserve by the Eagles after going unclaimed on waivers.
