One of the biggest seasons for the Virginia Tech football team in the last decade kicks off in seven days when the Hokies begin the 2025 campaign against 13th-ranked South Carolina in Atlanta.
This is a big season in terms of the future direction of the program under head coach Brent Pry. He begins the season on the hot seat, but with more questions than answers facing the program, it would be in the best interest of the program to win more than six games for a third year in a row. Of course, things could go sideways and they could less, but the vibes this summer have been very good for a program facing a big season.
