BLACKSBURG – Six Hokies hit double-digits as the 25th-ranked Virginia Tech women’s basketball team improved to 10-0 on the season, rolling past Bowling Green 98-51 on Sunday evening at Cassell Coliseum.
The 98 points marks the most by the program since dropping in 103 against High Point to open the 2007-08 season. Tech also hit a season-high field goal percentage, knocking down 54.0 percent on 34-of-63 while going 13-of-26 from long range.
Samantha Hill led the charge with a career-high 21 points, connecting on 6-12 from the field including a 5-of-8 clip from outside the arc.
