Former Virginia Tech Hokie Malcom Delaney has signed a 2 year guaranteed contract with the Atlanta Hawks. Terms of the deal are not yet disclosed, but Delaney has finally arrived in the N.B.A.. Delaney had an incredible career with the Hokies, averaging 16.6 points and 4 assists. In the 2009/10 season Delaney led the A.C.C. in scoring, and was a first team All-A.C.C. selection. He was also an honorable mention All-American by the AP. Delaney entered the N.B.A. draft after that season, but never hired an agent. He then changed his decision, and returned to Blacksburg. His senior season Delaney averaged 18.
