Chanette Hicks scored 11 of the Hokies 37 as Virginia Tech stumbled in the ACC Tournament first-round to Boston College, 48-37.
The Lady Hokies shot a dismal 22% from the field Wednesday night in their opening round lose to Boston College in the ACC tournament. The Hokies were the 11th seed in the tournament after posting a 5-11 ACC record. Coming into the game Virginia Tech was riding a 2 game winning streak after beating Wake Forest on the road and rival Virginia at home to end the regular season. Unfortunately, the Hokies were not able to maintain that momentum against the Eagles.
