After Virginia Tech fired Brent Pry following last Saturday night's 45-26 loss to Old Dominion, the next question was, at 0-3, how were the Hokies going to respond under interim coach Philip Montgomery against Wofford at Lane Stadium on Saturday? If they were going to win, they were going to have to do it without key players, Caleb Woodson, Quentin Reddish, Sherrod Covil, Christian Ellis, Caleb Brown and Takye Heath.
