Kendall Fuller of Virginia Tech Hokies declares for NFL draft

Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller is declaring for the NFL draft, the school announced Tuesday.

Fuller, a junior who was a preseason ESPN.com All-American, missed the final nine games of the season after undergoing surgery on his right knee. Fuller had torn his meniscus in fall camp but tried to play through the injury in the early part of this season.

Fuller finished his Hokies career with 28 starts in 29 games, recording eight interceptions, eight tackles for loss, 27 pass breakups, 35 passes defended, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
