Kelley Ford rating vaults Virginia Tech to a surprising spot in 2025 ACC standings

Make no mistake about it, this is a big season at the helm of the Virginia Tech football program for Brent Pry. The former Penn State defensive coordinator enters Year 4 in Blacksburg on the hot seat with huge roster turnover and coaching staff changes.

The schedule isn't easy right out of the gate as they get a pair of SEC schools, South Carolina and Vanderbilt, in the first two weeks. If there is any silver lining, they get the Gamecocks at a neutral site in Atlanta, then the Commodores visit Lane Stadium in Week 2 as the Hokies look for some revenge for a season-opening overtime loss last season in Nashville.
