Former Virginia Tech standout, Kam Chancellor, has signed a contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks. Chancellor, who graduated from DBU to the “Legion of Boom” has been a four time pro bowler. The extension solidifies Seattle’s secondary, and ensures that Chancellor will be a Seahawk for at least three more seasons. Terms being reported are three years for 36 million. Chancellor was a fifth round pick back in 2010, and provided an instant impact at safety.
Over his career, Chancellor has recorded 12 interceptions and 8 forced fumbles. Chancellor is known as an enforcer who always seems able to make the big hit in key situations.
