Former Virginia Tech Hokies safety Kam Chancellor has signed a 3-year contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks, Ian Rapoport confirmed. The Norfolk, Virginia native will earn $36 million with $25 million guaranteed.

Chancellor will earn an average $12 million a year and remain with the Seahawks through the 2020 season.
