Hokies defeat Mountaineers 13-3 to extend win streak to seven straight
BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech baseball extended its season-long winning streak to seven straight games in dominant fashion on Tuesday night, as the Hokies scored in every inning from the second through the sixth and claimed the 13-3 victory over West Virginia in nonconference action Tuesday night at English Field.
The winning streak, tied for the fourth longest active streak in the country, has improved the Hokies overall record to 26-24 while the Mountaineers drop their overall record to 24-23.
Saige Jenco was the catalyst for the Tech offense on the night as he went 3-for-4 with a career-high six RBIs.
