Jarrett, Gibson taken in 2015 NFL Draft

Ninety-three players have now been drafted in Frank Beamer's tenure

BLACKSBURG – Former Virginia Tech football standouts Kyshoen Jarrett and Lawrence Gibson became the latest Hokies to be selected in the NFL Draft, as they were chosen Saturday on the final day of the three-day event held in Chicago.

Their selections extended the Virginia Tech streak of having at least one player drafted by an NFL team to 22 consecutive seasons. The last time at least one Tech player did not get drafted was 1993.

Jarrett, a native of Tannersville, Pennsylvania, went to the Washington Redskins, who chose him in the sixth round with the 181st overall pick.
