The Penn State to Virginia Tech pipeline is alive and well. Since James Franklin was hired to replace his good friend Brent Pry as the head football coach at Virginia Tech, he has brought a lot of former assistant coaches with the Nittany Lions to Blacksburg. He has also brought a lot of the Class of 2026 commits he got with Penn State and flipped them to Virginia Tech.
Once the Transfer Portal opened, you had to figure that some of the Penn State players who hit the portal were going to seriously consider joining Franklin in Blacksburg.
