The Florida Gators picked up their second significant player this week as they landed Virginia Tech transfer Jalen Hudson on Wednesday.
Hudson, a 6-foot-5 guard who averaged 8.4 points and 2.3 rebounds as a sophomore for the Hokies, chose Mike White and the Gators over Texas.
I believe in what Coach White is building," Hudson told ESPN on Wednesday. "I think Florida gives me a great opportunity to perform at a high level, win at a high level and ultimately pursue my dreams in playing in the NBA."
Hudson appeared in 67 games in two seasons, including 27 starts, and at times showed potent scoring ability.
