GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia Tech will be seeded 11th and is set to face 14th-seeded Boston College on Wednesday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. as the Greensboro Coliseum plays host to the 39th annual Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament this Wednesday through Sunday.
The Hokies enter the tournament 17-12 overall and 5-11 in the ACC, marking their best record since finishing 2006-07 with records of 19-15, 6-8 ACC. Tech will face Boston College in the opening round with the Eagles holding a 14-15 record overall and 2-14 in the league. Virginia Tech defeated the Eagles, 58-33 earlier this season.
