Zach LeDay was once again the leader for the Hokies as he grabbed his second double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds in 31 minutes as his teammate Seth Allen dropped 15 points.
“We were much more purposeful with our dribbles and passes in the second half in the pace we want to play,” Hokies head coach Buzz Williams said.
The Hokies trailed most of the first half with their biggest deficit being six points. At the 17:29 mark in the first half VMI was on top of the Hokies 8-2 and then again 11-5 with 17:16 left in the first half.
