Hokies Get Women's Soccer Road Win Against Duke

The women's soccer team earned a conference victory, beating Duke 4-2 on the road Sunday afternoon. This victory improved the Hokies overall record to 11-1-1 and 3-1 in conference play. They remain No. 9 in the rankings.

Anissa Dadkhah helped the team jump to a quick start, scoring her first collegiate goal off an assist by Madi Conyers, just 15 minutes into the game. Less than 5 minutes into the second half, Tech increased their lead to 2-0 with a goal from Laila Gray, off of a steal. In the 69th minute, Murielle Tiernan scored off of a corner by Jordan Coburn pulling ahead 3-0, before Caroline Kerns scored the fourth and final goal of the match for the Hokies.
